We are learning how to use fresh ideas with a clear topic sentence and detailed supporting sentences. We will further develop these into longer 3-5 paragraph essays.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to build vocabulary by using <strong>Context Clues<\/strong> (direct and indirect) and will apply those skills, along with others, as we begin reading the short story, &#8220;The Cask of Amontillado&#8221; by Edgar Allen Poe. There will be a <strong>quiz on &#8220;Cask&#8221;\u00a0and your study guide is due on Mon. 10\/10.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please continue with <strong>SSR and read at least 30 minutes a day<\/strong> just for fun!
