Currently we are focusing on the grammar lessons involving NOUNS<\/strong> (common and PROPER) and there is a quiz on Wed., 10\/5.<\/strong><\/p>\n We are also studying the theme of Cultures and Traditions<\/strong> in our literature book, and there is a test on Ch. 1 on Tue., 10\/11.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n This week, you saw an overview of the 8 Thinking Maps<\/strong>, and we focused on the Circle Map<\/strong> to define what someone or something is.<\/p>\n We are also practicing our writing with the 6+1 Trait<\/strong> of Ideas<\/strong>. We are learning how to use fresh ideas with a clear topic sentence and detailed supporting sentences.<\/p>\n Please continue with SSR and read at least 30 minutes a day<\/strong> just for fun!
