{"id":422,"date":"2017-11-05T10:36:58","date_gmt":"2017-11-05T15:36:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/chocoralgebra1\/?p=422"},"modified":"2017-11-05T10:38:13","modified_gmt":"2017-11-05T15:38:13","slug":"chapter-1-test-correctionsretake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/chocoralgebra1\/2017\/11\/05\/chapter-1-test-correctionsretake\/","title":{"rendered":"Chapter 1 Test Corrections\/Retake"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Tests are graded and the average was around 60% in both classes<\/li>\n<li>The highest grade was 88% (Hadil Harajli 3rd hour Great Job!)<\/li>\n<li>I will allow you to choose either to make corrections or to fully retake the test<\/li>\n<li>You will have a chance to look at your test for 10 min before we start<\/li>\n<li>Corrections and test retakes will take place tomorrow in class this is why I will not be assigning any homework for tomorrow except preparing for the retake<\/li>\n<li>With test corrections you will only earn half credit back<\/li>\n<li>Only 5 points out of 39 were word problems<\/li>\n<li>Everything on the test we covered it with our homework and homework feedback\/corrections\/discussions<\/li>\n<li>I highly advise you to go back to each section and redo couple of each set of homework problem<\/li>\n<li>For this chapter we did one objective for 2 days<\/li>\n<li>Focus on the inverse functions (the rational one #15,16 page 126)<\/li>\n<li>Also make sure to review how to find composition of functions (15-22 page 117)<\/li>\n<li>For word problems make sure to review section 1.7 and to think about the problem in a real word situation; do not detach it from a real world. For example, some of the answers on the test found a salary before the raise greater than the salary after the raise which is not logical.<\/li>\n<li>Read the question VERY CAREFULLY<\/li>\n<li>Transformations were easy 8 summative points on the test; make sure to carefully review section 1.6. Many of you lost easy points because they forget to mention reflection over the x axis or vertical strecth&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>You can review p 137#43-50 I will post a pic of the key at the end of the day.
