All assignments are here on google classroom or linked to a website. The assignments for me are the 5 assignments below this post. They are all named by subject and say Week 3. 🙂

Math
Zearn – Online lessons aligned to Eureka Math
*** Complete the assignments in Google Classroom. Do one assignment a day. Do these just like we do in class. Remember to READ, DRAW, WRITE. If you cannot complete these online do them on a piece of paper. (These are review questions over the assignments we have completed in Module 4)
***Continue to work on Zearn.
Language Arts
- Hyperdoc – continue to work on this. If you can’t do it online, try it on paper.
- Choose a chapter book to use as a book study. Read a chapter a day and choose one activity from the hyperdoc to complete each week.
- Log into Google Classroom to find the hyperdoc.
- Readworks– Provides K-12 teachers with a large, high-quality library of curated nonfiction and literary articles, along with reading comprehension and vocabulary supports, formative assessments, teacher guidance, and more. Must have an account, but they are free.
- These are the texts that students have been assigned to read on ReadWorks.org.
- Saving The Animals
- Should the School Year be Year Round?
Writing Prompt: After reading Should the School Year be Year round, write a short opinion paragraph on whether or not you think school should be year round. Make sure to restate the question, give me at least 2-3 reasons why to support your opinion. The assignment will be in google classroom where you can type it into a google doc.

Science
- Mystery Science – Mystery Science features multimedia science units for K-5. Each lesson consists of a series of short videos and prompts guide student discussion. This is followed by an experiment that can be done at home.

Social Studies
- MI Open Book – Michigan Studies (Teacher Correlation Guide available in MyPD Remote Learning course)
- The British in Michigan 141-147
- Some of this may be information we learned from the DNR trip, however some may be new to the students.
- Questions:
- 1. Stop and Think question on page 143: From what have you learned so far, who do you think won the war? The French or the British? Why?
- 2. Stop and Think question on page145: What do you think happened between the British people and the Indengenious people? Why?
- Complete these questions in Google Classroom-Make a copy of the questions, edit the questions. Then click the blue share button at the top. Type in my name Lisa Chesney. Click my email address and then click done. If you are unable to do this, write on paper and take a photo via Class Dojo
