Good Afternoon!\u00a0 I hope everyone is enjoying our warm weekend weather!<\/p>\n
This week will be an exciting one for all of us!<\/p>\n
Wednesday will be a late start.\u00a0 School starts at 9:35.\u00a0 If your child eats breakfast at school, they need to get to the cafeteria between 9:00 and 9:15 to eat.\u00a0 No breakfast will be served in the classroom on late start days.<\/p>\n
Friday will be the last day of school before the holiday break.\u00a0 We will have a low key celebration on Friday afternoon which will be comprised of sharing treats and a movie.\u00a0 At 2:15 we will go down to the gym to see the K-l concert, followed by our annual Holiday Sing-Along.\u00a0 (There will be no STEAM for those students participating from the 4th grade)<\/p>\n
Our spelling words this week will be 15 fun ones!\u00a0 The spelling words are as follows:<\/p>\n
Santa Claus, elves, sleigh, tinsel, stockings, reindeer, Rudolf, Frosty, North Pole, decorations, gingerbread, chimney, joy, peace, gifts.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we will have Art.\u00a0 Mrs. Zechar is asking students to bring in newspaper to be used for a paper mache project.\u00a0 Also, if your child has a reading log that they are keeping for me and they forgot it on Friday, please make sure they bring it tomorrow.\u00a0 (All Reading Logs are due on Friday of each week)<\/p>\n
