I hope everyone is having a great weekend!\u00a0 Tomorrow is the PBIS celebration for March.\u00a0 If your child had 4 or less card flips this month they will be able to participate.\u00a0 The upper elementary students will be watching part of the Tiger Home Opener in the afternoon with popcorn and lemonade as a refreshment.\u00a0 Don’t forget to remind your child to wear their Tiger gear!!<\/p>\n
Just a note:\u00a0 We are in desperate need of tissues in our classroom.\u00a0 If you can spare a box, we would all appreciate it!<\/p>\n
Now that the weather is finally getting nicer, we will be having more recess in the afternoon.\u00a0 I am asking that you speak to your child about avoiding mud puddles until the ground dries up.\u00a0 I am sure you don’t want to wash their muddy shoes when they arrive home from school.<\/p>\n
This week’s spelling focuses on suffixes.\u00a0 The words they will need to study are:\u00a0 grateful, kindness, comfortable, beautiful, portable.\u00a0 The content words are:\u00a0 judicial, executive, legislative, federal, state.<\/p>\n
Please continue to work with your child on multiplication and make sure they are reading as a daily routine.\u00a0 The science projects should have been started.\u00a0 Remember that if you need a discounted Display Board, we are taking orders until Wednesday, April 2nd.<\/p>\n
