{"id":822,"date":"2015-10-14T15:09:04","date_gmt":"2015-10-14T19:09:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/chasen\/?p=822"},"modified":"2015-10-14T15:09:04","modified_gmt":"2015-10-14T19:09:04","slug":"more-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/chasen\/2015\/10\/14\/more-information\/","title":{"rendered":"More Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">Make A\u00a0Wish\u00a0Pumpkin Raffle: \u00a0The Snow Staff will decorate small pie pumpkins for a very worthy cause!\u00a0\u00a0Pumpkins will be displayed in the lobby showcases. \u00a0\u00a0They will be on display on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370111\"><span class=\"aQJ\">October 21<\/span><\/span> with NO ticket sales.\u00a0 Ticket sales will start on<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370112\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Thursday, October 22<\/span><\/span> and run through <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370113\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Thursday, October 29<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 Pumpkins will go home with the winners on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370114\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday, October 30<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 Tickets will be on sale in the morning before school- in the lobby- or from me in the art room.\u00a0 We have done this the last three years and have generated a nice donation to Make A Wish.\u00a0 Not everyone wins a pumpkin, but every one that buys a ticket helps a charity provide a wonderful experience for a child in need of something special.\u00a0 Many thanks for your participation!<\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">Empty Bowls Dinner: \u00a0The Dearborn Art Department is hosting their 24th Annual Empty Bowls Dinner at Park Place.\u00a0 This event will take\u00a0place\u00a0on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370115\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday, November 23rd<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>from <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370116\"><span class=\"aQJ\">4 pm until 6:30 pm<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 The suggested donation for soup, bread and beverage is $5 per person, this includes a bowl to take home.\u00a0 There will be a raffle that includes many different items and baskets.\u00a0 Snow School will be providing a basket for the raffle.\u00a0 Proceeds from the dinner go to Gleaners Food Bank and Blessings in a Backpack.\u00a0 Support is greatly appreciated!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">Pennies for Pasta coming to\u00a0Snow\u00a0School in\u00a0November!\u00a0 We will be collecting coins\/change\/money for the\u00a0Leukemia\u00a0Foundation\u00a0<wbr \/>through a program called Pennies for Pasta.\u00a0 Each classroom will have a box to deposit their\u00a0donations in.\u00a0 We start collecting <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370117\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday\u00a0November\u00a02<\/span><\/span> and stop on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1923370118\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Tuesday, November 24<\/span><\/span>. The class with\u00a0the highest donation will win a lunch from Olive Garden (that will be enjoyed at Snow School).
