Greetings to everyone and Happy New Year!<\/p>\n
2013 passed by very quickly but our classroom was very busy!\u00a0 January started a little late due to the extreme weather so we need to move\u00a0rapidly to catch up!<\/p>\n
In writing, we will again be focusing on narratives and opinion writing.\u00a0 Math will consist of multiplication and division strategies.\u00a0 In science, we will finish up space study by finishing our planet reports and presenting them to the class.\u00a0 We will continue with Michigan History in social studies and focus on the years 1830-2000.<\/p>\n
Just a reminder about the concert on January 15th (this Wednesday).\u00a0 We will be doing things a little differently this year.\u00a0 Our evening will begin at 6:45 in our classroom and we will be showing parents the math games that we practice in our math workstations.\u00a0 At 7:15, we will move to the gym to present a recorder concert.\u00a0 Afterwards, we will show off our artwork that will be displayed in the hallway.\u00a0 Hopefully,\u00a0 all students and parents can attend.\u00a0 Don’t forget to put January 15th on your calendar.\u00a0 We begin at 6:45 sharp!!\u00a0 Have a great week!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
