Good Afternoon Parents!<\/p>\n
This week we will have our Halloween Party on Tuesday, Oct. 31st from 1:45-2:30.\u00a0 Students may wear their costumes (no masks, weapons or scary face painting please). Some parents signed up for treats, so if you forgot what you planned on bringing, please feel free to email me.<\/p>\n
This week we will have FUN spelling words.\u00a0 Both 2nd and 3rd graders will be challenged with these 20 Halloween words:<\/p>\n
Halloween, witch, ghost, creaky, broomstick, brew, Jack O’Lantern, pumpkin, cauldron, vampire, werewolf, monster, howl, goblin, zombie, spooky, mummy, skeleton, scariest, haunted.\u00a0 The spelling activities will even change for this week…<\/p>\n
Monday we have Gym, so gym shoes are a must.\u00a0 Library books are due and we will pick new ones tomorrow.\u00a0 You will be receiving a conference slip this week to remind you of the time, or, if you did not sign up for a conference, I will assign a time for you.\u00a0 Please check your time and let me know if it works for you.\u00a0 If not, we can reschedule.<\/p>\n
Please note: Friday will be a half-day with a 11:45 dismissal.\u00a0 It is the end of the card marking, teachers will be working on grading report cards.\u00a0 Conferences start next week.<\/p>\n
