Greetings! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend!<\/p>\n
This week we begin NWEA testing.\u00a0 This first round of tests is just a benchmark for your child, so no worries!\u00a0 The Second Graders will take 2 tests and the Third Graders have 4! (insert sad face here…)\u00a0 Other than the number of tests, second graders get the reading test read to them.\u00a0 The third graders have to READ the test to themselves.\u00a0 Its a big jump from second to third, but the children adapt quickly!<\/p>\n
We have Gym tomorrow. Please make sure your child wears their gym shoes.\u00a0 I will not allow them to call home for a change of shoes (sorry!)<\/p>\n
The second grade spelling words they will be responsible for this week are:<\/p>\n
sat, will, bad, six, wag, his, can, big, has, him.<\/p>\n
The third grade spelling words they will be responsible for this week are:<\/p>\n
lane, ate, trap, tape, can, fiction, number, count, force, Michigan.<\/p>\n
Your child will be bringing home a Tic-Tac-Toe activity sheet to help them practice their spelling words.\u00a0 The activities will be due on Friday of each week.\u00a0 Spelling tests will be on Friday as well.<\/p>\n
