Hopefully, we will get the report cards reprinted and in your hands tomorrow.\u00a0 In the meantime, I want to remind you that Friday, February 12th and Monday, February 15th, students will not have school.<\/p>\n
Due to the short week, we will have the spelling test on Thursday, February 11th.\u00a0 This week we focus on words with an \/ile\/ or \/il\/ ending:<\/p>\n
docile, profile, fragile, gerbil, council.<\/p>\n
The content words focus on science (there are six content words this week):<\/p>\n
solid, liquid, gas, matter, heating, cooling.<\/p>\n
Please remember that students will be eating breakfast in the cafeteria in the morning.\u00a0 Drop your child off by 8:15 and they can relax and eat their breakfast prior to coming to the classroom.<\/p>\n
If your child is interested in passing out Valentine Cards to their classmates, they can do so on Thursday, February 11th.\u00a0 I will give a copy of student names to those students who want them.\u00a0 Also, if they would like to pass a treat that will be acceptable as long as the treat does not involve cupcakes or nut products.\u00a0 (Please remember that we have a peanut allergy in our classroom.)<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we will have Art.\u00a0 Make sure your child is continuing to work on their Science Fair Project.\u00a0 All projects are due on Tuesday, February 16th.<\/p>\n
