Welcome back to a new school year!\u00a0 My name is Ms. Chapman, and I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year.\u00a0 This year we will participate in learning experiences\u00a0 that include communication, behavior, and academic lessons.\u00a0 There will be time for creativity and to learn to express who we are as people.<\/p>\n
Our first week of school students will be reviewing routines of the classroom and school.\u00a0 In addition, students will review basic skills from the previous year, and form baseline data in academics and behavior.\u00a0 There will be no formal homework this week, but I will send home a copy of our morning routine with your child tomorrow.\u00a0 Please go over this with them.\u00a0 There is also a copy of our routines in the classroom for them to refer to.\u00a0 There is a packet of information coming home with your child today from the school.<\/p>\n
I have an open door policy, so please feel free to call or me with any questions or information you feel I should know from day to day.\u00a0 I want to work closely with all of you to assure the best possible environment for the students.<\/p>\n
