Today as a school community we sat down and created a plan that we feel will help students be most successful during this time. I will be posting assignments every Monday morning for the entire week. For the next 3 weeks students should be completing all of the assignments that I will be posting for each subject area. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns: chanceh@dearbornschools.org <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning Expectations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Spelling<\/strong>: I will be sending new spelling words each week. Please have your child practice the spelling words and you can test them at the end of each week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Reading<\/strong>: Students should log onto Raz-Kids and read 2 books per day, as well as taking the quizzes after each book. I am able to see the students score for each quiz and track their progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    –Writing<\/strong>: Students should research and read 1 informational topic of their choice and write about it per week on Raz-Kids. Students should make sure to include a topic sentence, 3 facts, and a conclusion sentence. Please turn in writing pieces when we return to school<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    –Math<\/strong>: Students should be completing 1 math lesson per day\/ 5 each week on Zearn. I am able to see the lessons that each student has completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
