This unit will review basic color mixing using the three primary colors to create the secondary and tertiary colors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pearlsofprofundity.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/colors-chart-1a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"323\" height=\"242\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Students will create a value scale of tints, shades, tones of a single color in 20% increments.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bergeronline.com\/caribbean\/images\/shades.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"296\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Student will use this experience to develop a summative assessment that clearly demonstrates their knowledge and understanding of color mixing and expressive qualities. Each student will create an expressive color &#8216;wheel&#8217; using their unique creativity and interests.
