Thanks for a great school year. Although zooming is not the best I could not have asked for a better group. I hope everyone enjoys the summer and I can’t wait to see these first graders in the fall!!! 🙂
Fun day today!
(Group B do not show your child! Then they can be surprised tomorrow morning).
The students are allowed to bring the following on Thursday and Friday for their in person day:
Please have them bring a small blanket, small pillow, and favorite book 🙂 They may wear pjs!
We will be “camping” in the classroom 🙂
NO school materials will be needed for school on Thursday and Friday. We are finished with goals and baskets. We will just be sharing some Memories from the green books on their asynchronous zoom days.

Wednesday- (6/16)
Bring breakfast to 8:40 am zoom. We have a virtual field trip to different zoos to observe animals
12 pm show and share zoom.
Thursday- (6/17)
8:40 am zoom- Group B. Attendance taken and we will discuss the memory books (not formal but just a quick fifteen minute zoom with check in)
9:30-2:20 Group A in person
Friday- (6/18)
8:40 am zoom- Group A. Attendance taken and we will discuss the memory books (not formal but just a quick fifteen minute zoom with check in)
9:30-11:45 am Group B in person
Celebration starts promptly at 1:30 pm. Please make sure to arrive a few minutes early. You will see the chairs set up.
Students should still be dropped off between 9:30-9:40 am. We have a fun day of activities. Make sure they are dressed up in fun bright luau clothing! It matches our celebration theme perfectly. If you don’t own that classroom faces T-shirt’s would work as well.
We will be eating our lunches outside for a picnic on Monday/Tuesday. Make sure to pack a towel for your child to eat on and maybe some of their favorite snacks!
The celebration will be with masks on. We had to submit plans to the district and were one of only a couple schools that were approved. So that means I will not be able to remove my mask for pictures. I apologize but we really want to be approved for things in the future and need to follow the district rules! Thanks for understanding about that.
The morning zooms will be attendance and me and the map lesson on Monday and Tuesday! So please make sure you are there and ready!

The Eureka math succeed modules were sent home in case you want practice or work over the summer.
The page that has reading level on it has activities you can do over the summer to prevent “summer slide”. Any practice is better then nothing.
The Parent meeting on Friday is about summer school. Link for the zoom will be posted that morning on the school blog.
