Our Valentine’s Party is under way!\u00a0 We just finished Zumba and our lunch is on it’s way!\u00a0 What a great way to end the week!<\/p>\n
During class time today, we took some time to discuss Internet Safety.\u00a0 \u00a0The students will be bringing home an “Internet Safety Pledge” and their homework is to have a discussion with their parents about it.\u00a0 We will be bringing in a speaker in June for our final parent meeting, to discuss internet safety and what parents have to watch out for.\u00a0 There are so many dangers out there and with technology ever changing, it’s something we always have to keep on top of.\u00a0 \u00a0Did you know there are apps, that hide other apps, so that they can’t be seen by an unknowing parent?!?!\u00a0 There are!\u00a0 We have to do everything we can to keep our kids safe!<\/p>\n
We also took a few minutes to discuss the shooting in Florida this week.\u00a0 One of our students was very concerned, and wanted to know what he should do if that ever happened.\u00a0 We will continue practicing our safety procedures in the weeks and months to come.\u00a0 Hopefully we will NEVER have to use them, but we need to be prepared just in case.\u00a0 “Hope for the best, plan for the worst!”<\/p>\n
For those of you going on vacation next week, have a great time!\u00a0 For the rest, I hope you get plenty of rest and relaxation.\u00a0 This is always such a nice break from the day to day hustle and bustle!\u00a0 When we come back, our Parent Talk classes will begin on Monday, February 26th, at 9:30.<\/p>\n
