Hello!\u00a0 Can you believe it’s October already?\u00a0 Well here we are and things are happening so quickly in our program.\u00a0 I wanted to catch you up to speed on a few things….<\/p>\n
Tomorrow’s Zumba class will be here at Hype, instead of at the studio.\u00a0 We have been advised against driving students in our personal vehicles, so we are very thankful Ms. Susan was willing to come to us instead!\u00a0 We are ready to have a blast!\u00a0 Students should come to school in comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, and may want to bring a bottle of water.\u00a0 They may bring a change of clothes if they like (like we do for Planet Fitness).<\/p>\n
We also welcome Mr. Tank back for Self Defense tomorrow afternoon.\u00a0 He has volunteered to come every other week this year – and we are so thankful for that as well.\u00a0 The students are very excited for tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Saturday, October 7th, is our Family Trip to Three Cedars Farms.\u00a0 I will send home a map to all who have RSVP’d tomorrow.\u00a0 We will be there from 2-4 with our families.\u00a0 We are looking forward to seeing everyone and having a good time!\u00a0 Please note – this is not a drop off activity.<\/p>\n
It was great seeing so many of you already for annual IEP’s.\u00a0 We always enjoy meeting with you and it was nice to have Dr. Bazzi-Gates attend with us as well.\u00a0 I really enjoyed the day.\u00a0 Please don’t wait for an IEP to discuss concerns with us – we are able to meet with you anytime, but please make an appointment so we can be prepared.<\/p>\n
The students are doing a great job at the job sites and out in the community.\u00a0 We are off to a great start!<\/p>\n

October 13 – Half day – dismissal at 11:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
October 18 – Late start – 9:00 am arrival<\/p>\n
October 18 – Parent Meet and Greet 11:30-1:00<\/p>\n
