Hello! \u00a0A few things have come up \u00a0– so I thought I’d get the blog out a day early.<\/p>\n
Lunches\/Food<\/strong> – Students are doing great bringing in healthy lunches! \u00a0Keep up the great work! \u00a0Please do not send in extra snacks, or drinks such as coffee or hot chocolate, pop, etc.<\/strong> \u00a0While its easy to want to give “kids” everything they want, it’s better that they learn that there is a time and place for everything. \u00a0Hot Chocolate and other treats are for home.<\/p>\n Bank Accounts<\/strong> – Due to several absences, we had openings for our trip to Fairlane Mall today. \u00a0 We were able to send three extra students who weren’t originally scheduled, because they each had a bank account here at school. \u00a0They were so excited! \u00a0Just an example of why students have bank accounts here at school. \u00a0If you would like to start one for your son\/daughter, you can do so at any time.<\/p>\n Fairlane Mall<\/strong> – Students who attended Fairlane Mall unexpectedly today, will be bringing their lunch home, as they purchased lunch from the food court. \u00a0We placed their lunches from home in the refrigerator at Hype today, so they should be fine by the time they reach home.<\/p>\n Phone Calls to the Classroom<\/strong> – Please leave a message (text or voice mail is fine) if we don’t answer when you call. \u00a0We do not stop teaching to answer the phone. \u00a0We promise we will get back to you as soon as possible, however, when you call repeatedly without leaving a message, it is very disruptive to the classroom. \u00a0Also please note, we will not return calls unless you leave a message. \u00a0Thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n Upcoming Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n January 27th – Half Day, dismissal at 11:00<\/p>\n February 4th – Weekend activity – TBD<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello! \u00a0A few things have come up \u00a0– so I thought I’d get the blog out a day early.
