Everyone is adjusting to being back at school! \u00a0We had a\u00a0nice, easy day getting to know\u00a0everyone,\u00a0 with \u00a0just a taste of our routine.\u00a0 Tomorrow we will go a little more in depth as we begin discussing our rules, expectations and\u00a0getting into our\u00a0curriculum.\u00a0 Job\/CBI sites will not start until the end of September at the earliest.<\/p>\n
Thank you to those students who came prepared with all of their supplies.\u00a0 There were quite a few who did not have them, and so I am sending a reminder home today.\u00a0It is so important students have the tools they need for school, and especially their planner, which is a line of communication between school and home.\u00a0 \u00a0Some students have last years planner in their back pack – they will need a new<\/strong> <\/em>academic planner for this year.\u00a0 (July 2016\u00a0– June 2017).\u00a0\u00a0 Please send supplies to school by Friday, September 9th.<\/p>\n As a reminder, we do not send paper notes home.\u00a0 Student planners and this blog are our main lines of communication to what is happening in the classroom such as special events, where your son\/daughter will be working, field trips, etc.\u00a0 We update the planners on a monthly basis, but please check them on a daily basis for any changes in the schedule.<\/p>\n Also,\u00a0I understand there were a few bus issues this morning.\u00a0 Please understand it takes a few days to work the kinks out – but they usually resolve themselves.\u00a0 It looks like we have all new drivers this year, so it will take a few weeks for them to become familiar with the route.\u00a0\u00a0If you have questions or concerns, please call the \u00a0transportation department.\u00a0 You can also call them\u00a0to get your son\/daughters pick up time, as it may have changed from last year.<\/p>\n Thank you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Everyone is adjusting to being back at school! \u00a0We had a\u00a0nice, easy day getting to know\u00a0everyone,\u00a0 with \u00a0just a taste of our routine.\u00a0 Tomorrow we will go a little more in depth as we begin discussing our rules, expectations and\u00a0getting into our\u00a0curriculum.\u00a0 Job\/CBI sites will not start until the end of September at the earliest.
