We had a little mishap with the bus to Kerby’s this morning.\u00a0 It left without us!\u00a0 We improvised by purchasing breakfast pizza for the students and they all seemed happy and\u00a0had plenty to eat.\u00a0 We even had extra for those students who didn’t bring\u00a0a lunch.\u00a0 The cost for the pizza was just $5 per student.\u00a0 We took the $5 out of their bank accounts if we couldn’t make change, so please check your son\/daughter’s back pack for change.\u00a0 Some of them will be coming home with the same amount of money they came in with.<\/p>\n
Information will be going home today for our trip to Turtle Cove!\u00a0 We are so excited!\u00a0 Please save the top page for your reference and send in the form with your number of tickets, purchase price (please include the exact amount) by June 10th.\u00a0 If your son\/daughter is not attending, please indicate that on the form and return to us.<\/p>\n
Saturday is our BBQ at Mrs. Haidar’s house.\u00a0 We will be watching the weather carefully as it changes by the hour.\u00a0 We will cancel by Friday if the weather doesn’t cooperate as Ms. Haidar cannot accommodate everyone inside her home.\u00a0 Keep your fingers crossed!<\/p>\n
Academic Planners!\u00a0 I’ve already got mine for next year!!!\u00a0 They are starting to come out and every student is required to have one by the start of next year.\u00a0 We will not have any for sale as we have in the past.\u00a0 Please make sure the squares are large enough for students to write job sites, community locations, etc.\u00a0 Sometimes they need to write more than one thing in a square.\u00a0 A good size planner \u00a0is 8 1\/2 x 11.<\/p>\n
Money left over from student bank accounts will be sent home the last week of school<\/p>\n
