Happy Veteran’s Day!\u00a0 Thank you to all that have served and continue to serve our country!!<\/p>\n
I wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone that donated money towards our basket and helped out with the Lindbergh Boutique.\u00a0 It was so much fun on Saturday to see everyone as well as former students\/parents.\u00a0 I also wanted to share some exciting news:\u00a0 I won our classroom basket!!!!!\u00a0 Soooo excited!!\u00a0 Thank you to Nadia and Yaseen for making the money cake!!\u00a0 Also, thank you to Yvette for making the Holiday Boutique such a successful event!!<\/p>\n
Here’s a run down of our week ahead!<\/p>\n
Conferences – Tuesday and Thursday of this week.\u00a0 Conference notes were sent home a week ago.<\/p>\n
Reading – students will begin new novels this week<\/p>\n
Writing – we will begin Opinion Writing<\/p>\n
Science – new unit:\u00a0 Space Systems: Stars and the Solar System<\/p>\n
Math – begin lesson 16\u00a0 on division\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0*just finished our Mid-Module Assessment<\/p>\n
Leader In Me – Habit 2\u00a0 Begin with the End in Mind<\/p>\n
