Here we go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the state&#8217;s guidelines for screen time (K-2), the limitation is no more than 1- 1 1\/2 hours per day of screen time for school purposes.   The following sites are the ones I will be monitoring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read Works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Epic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zearn <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your children should be very familiar with the above sites.  If for any reason they are having any problems logging on, please let me know.  Refer to my March 13th, 14th and 17th blogs for class codes and or student password information.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am adding a new site, Vocabulary\/Spelling City to sites I&#8217;ll monitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spelling City <\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spellingcity.com\/Log-yourself-in.html\">https:\/\/www.spellingcity.com\/Log-yourself-in.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your child&#8217;s username will be their first name, last initial  followed by 108.  (ex:  SarahB108) and their password  is their bookbox number (1-25) There are two exceptions:  DavidLe108 and JennaHa108.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other sites that I recommend for enrichment are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reading:  <strong>Raz Kids, Freckle and Storyline <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Math: <strong>Freckle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Science:  <strong>Mystery Science<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social Studies:  <strong>Scholastic News and Time for Kids<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a library card I highly recommend you check out Dearborn Public Libraries for a number of wonderful sites. Share it with someone in your family.  Your child can write this in their journal or begin a poetry book.
