{"id":1671,"date":"2019-05-09T21:02:11","date_gmt":"2019-05-10T01:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/burkep\/?p=1671"},"modified":"2019-05-09T21:02:11","modified_gmt":"2019-05-10T01:02:11","slug":"reminders-for-veterans-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/burkep\/2019\/05\/09\/reminders-for-veterans-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminders for Veteran&#8217;s Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi All!<\/p>\n<p>Just a friendly reminder to have your children wear red, white, and blue tomorrow for our trip to the Veteran&#8217;s Hospital. \u00a0Also, each child and chaperone needs a bag lunch and beverage (no pop). \u00a0We do plan on venturing over to Belle Isle after the distribution of the fruit trays for a &#8220;picnic&#8221; lunch, a visit to the aquarium and some play time on their play structure. \u00a0It&#8217;s going to be another busy day.<\/p>\n<p>I would like to share with you that your children did an outstanding job today preparing the fruit trays for our veterans. Such on task busy bees&#8212;we received numerous compliments from parents,volunteers and actual veterans that visited us today on their wonderful behaviors. \u00a0I gave them 10 stones for their reward jar!!!!!!! \u00a0Soooooo proud!!!!!!! \u00a0Looking forward to another very meaningful day, tomorrow!!!!<\/p>\n<p>I also have to \u00a0send out an enormous thank you to our parents who were able to help with all the tray preparations today, Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. Dagher, Mrs. Motowski, and Ms. Ozuna,&#8212;-all the wrapping, tying, snipping, and lifting&#8212;-amazing!!! \u00a0A fabulous community effort&#8212;2,022 trays were created today. \u00a0 A job well done!!!!!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s to a memorable and appreciative patriotic deed!!!!!!<\/p>\n<p>Fondly,<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Burke<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi All!
