Oh my gosh—-our last school week before our winter break!!! \u00a0Hopefully, no one is feeling frazzled–haha!!! \u00a0Well our week is going to be a busy one, so hold on….here we go!<\/p>\n
Spirit Week:<\/p>\n
Monday: \u00a0DuVall Wear Day<\/p>\n
Tuesday: \u00a0Ugly Sweater Day—if you don’t have one—you can design one with bows, cutouts taped on, etc…<\/p>\n
Wednesday: \u00a0Candy Cane Day—wear red and white \u00a0or something with candy canes on it<\/p>\n
Thursday: \u00a0Pajama Day—-wear your pjs, but keep in mind we have a field trip to the movies<\/p>\n
Friday: \u00a0Holiday Day—Wear your favorite holiday attire<\/p>\n
Other tidbits:<\/p>\n
Thursday: \u00a0Field trip to the movies—-ALL<\/strong> chaperones MUST<\/strong> have their I-Chat forms on file in the office by Wednesday,<\/strong> otherwise you may not attend, so please check on the status of those. (There are 4 classes attending this trip and we can’t overwhelm the office with last minute requirements!!!!!) Also, if you have volunteered to drive other children, \u00a0first, thank you! \u00a0Secondly, you MUST<\/strong>\u00a0 submit a copy of your driver’s license \u00a0and car insurance to the office, also by this Wednesday. \u00a0 Thank you \u00a0so much for your full cooperation with this.<\/p>\n Friday: \u00a0Our Christmas Party: \u00a0We will be having a small celebration in our classroom along with the assembly of \u00a0our gingerbread houses(1:10-2:25) in the cafeteria. \u00a0Mrs. Ferrell will be posting a Sign-up Genius for the needed candy decorations and other supplies. \u00a0Donations are soooo appreciated by all our Busy Bees. \u00a0The DuVall sing-a-long will take place from 2:30-3:30 in the gym. \u00a0Hope you can join us!!!<\/p>\n Plans for Hive 108:<\/p>\n Spelling: \u00a0“Bossy r” (ar and or patterns) \u00a0Our spelling words are: \u00a0park, sort, horse, short, porch, dark, storm, start, sharp, part. \u00a0Bonus words: \u00a0march, sport, party. \u00a0Our silly sentence is : \u00a0Let’s start to walk to the park before the party begins.<\/p>\n Reading: \u00a0Compare and contrast<\/p>\n Writer’s workshop: \u00a0We have completed our narrative gingerbread children stories, along with their decorated character.
