We have quite a few living things in our building.<\/p>\n<p>Kindergarten and fifth graders have worms that they are watching compost.<\/p>\n<p>Kindergarteners also have goldfish, guppies and 2 different types of snails.  They are comparing animals that are similar but still different.<\/p>\n<p>Second graders are watching 3 different bugs go through a metamorphosis.  Caterpillars, mealworms, and silk worms all change into something very different than what they began as.  <\/p>\n<p>Third graders have a pet crayfish.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth grade have fish, mealworms, and isopods.<\/p>\n<p>Fifth graders have caterpillars in addition to their worms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The past few weeks, Miller has been learning about life science- plants and animals.
