selection process 2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear Algebra students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On behalf of the DCMST staff, I am sharing the following information:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applications for current Dearborn Public School students and out-of-district students are available on our website\/blog (deadline to apply is March 12, 2021)<\/li><li>Applications are open to all students who will successfully complete Algebra 1 by June 2020<\/li><li>Students will be selected based on available standardized test scores (NWEA, Algebra 1 Sem 1 CA) and GPA<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Just a reminder, to be eligible, 8th grade students must be taking Algebra 1 currently,\u00a0 have earned a\u00a0 78% or higher on Semester 1 Common Assessment and successful completion of Algebra 1 by the end of 8th grade.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attached is a short video explaining what DCMST is all about.&nbsp; We hope that all 8th grade Algebra 1 teachers can take some time during their class before February 17th to show this video to all of their Algebra 1 students.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dearborn Center for Math, Science &amp;
