I am responsible for the Law Enforcement Explorer Post with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and we are providing youth between 14 – 18 years of age (or beginning the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0grade) who have an interest in careers with Law Enforcement (City, County, State, Federal, Officers, Forensics, Investigations, etc.<\/em>).\u00a0 Explorers are provided with hands on training to include but not limited to (Traffic Stops, Making Arrest, Weapons Qualification, Report Writing, Interviewing Techniques, Physical Fitness, and Leadership<\/em>).\u00a0 CBP recognizes experience as an Explorer in our application process for careers within CBP and we have several employees who were Explorers before they began their career with CBP.<\/p>\n CBP Explorer Post #306 is hosting an Open House to provide information about our Law Enforcement Explorer Program.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0CBP Law Enforcement Explorers \u201cOpen House\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 September 25th, from 5pm to 8pm<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dauch Boy Scout conference room<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1776 W Warren Ave, Detroit, MI 48208<\/p>\n \n Please pass this information along to family and friends, Community Organizations, Schools, Religious and Political Organizations.<\/p>\n \n
