Thank you to everyone who came to grade-level tryouts for soccer. We ended up with over 100 students trying out, which unfortunately means a lot of cuts needed to be made. If your name appears on the list below, you will need to be in the locker room getting ready by 3:30 sharp. If you are late, you may risk a spot on the team. We will end at 5:30 and you will be expected to be picked up no later than 5:40; later than that and you risk being cut. I expect proper gear (cleats and shin guards) to be worn during this next round of tryouts. I will also be having grades checked, and anyone with less than a 2.0 at the time of checking will be cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If your name is not on the list, I wanted to thank you for trying out for the team this year. There are a lot of factors that I use when making decisions, but the biggest one is in regards to 6th-grade players. 6th Grade students have multiple\u00a0years to try out for the team, and more importantly to mature a bit. Remember, there is no JV team for soccer. Beyond that, sometimes there are a lot of people trying out for a specific position, and there just is not enough space on the team to accommodate.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you did not make the first round of cuts, please do not email me asking for a second chance. This is not something that we have the time to accommodate.
