Students are working on annotated and then writing a summary on a mine craft article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesday 9\/17\/19<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the rest of the week students will: Students\u200b \u200bexplore\u200b \u200bthe\u200b \u200bimportance\u200b \u200bof\u200b \u200bclearly\u200b \u200bdefining\u200b \u200bthe\u200b <strong>criteria<\/strong>\u200b \u200band\u200b <strong>constraints<\/strong>\u200b \u200bin\u200b \u200border\u200b to\u200b \u200b have\u200b a\u200b \u200bsuccessful\u200b \u200bsolution. \u200b By\u200b \u200b clearly\u200b \u200b defining\u200b \u200b the\u200b \u200b criteria\u200b \u200b and\u200b\u200b\u00a0 constraints,\u200b\u200b  the\u200b \u200b solution\u200b \u200b you\u200b \u200b arrive\u200b \u200b at\u200b \u200b is\u200b more\u200b \u200blikely\u200b \u200bto\u200b \u200bbe\u200b \u200bsuccessful.\u200b \u200bWhen\u200b \u200bthese\u200b \u200bcriteria\u200b \u200band\u200b \u200bconstraints \u200b are\u200b \u200b poorly\u200b \u200b defined\u200b \u200b it\u200b\u200b \u200bis \u200b\u200bmore likely\u200b \u200bthe\u200b \u200bsolution\u200b \u200bwill\u200b \u200bnot\u200b \u200bactually\u200b \u200baddress\u200b \u200bthe\u200b \u200bproblem,\u200b \u200bfail\u200b \u200bto\u200b \u200bmeet\u200b \u200bthe\u200b \u200bneeds\u200b \u200bof\u200b \u200bthe stakeholders,\u200b \u200bor\u200b \u200bbe\u200b \u200bless\u200b \u200bsuccessful\u200b \u200bthan\u200b \u200bother\u200b \u200bpotential\u200b \u200bsolutions.<br>Today students will be making paper towers to test their criteria and constraints as a solution to a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday  9\/18\/19  Students will look at the criteria and constraints between two bridges and we will discuss the good and the bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursday 9\/19\/19  Students will look at an engineering flaw and then redesign the engineering flaw using new constraints and criteria to solve the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday 9\/20\/19  Half day As class, students will review this weeks lesson on defining and redifining good criteria to solve the constraints of a solution<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday 9\/16\/19 I am not feeling well today so I had amended my plans this week.
