{"id":131,"date":"2019-03-03T17:11:04","date_gmt":"2019-03-03T22:11:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/brownd1\/?p=131"},"modified":"2019-03-03T17:11:04","modified_gmt":"2019-03-03T22:11:04","slug":"geo-science-for-the-week-of-march-4th-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/brownd1\/2019\/03\/03\/geo-science-for-the-week-of-march-4th-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Geo science for the week of March 4th 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Monday 3\/4\/19\u00a0 Students will finish their lecture notes on evidence for the continental drift theory.\u00a0 They will also annotate a brief biography on Alfred Wegener for a project they will begin later this week.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday 3\/5\/19.\u00a0 Students will do a crossword puzzle map of Pangaea using 3 forms of evidence on continental drift.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 3\/6\/19\u00a0 Students will write a two paragraph paper.\u00a0 One paragraph supporting continental drift theory and one against continental drift theory.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday 3\/7\/19.\u00a0 Students will begin lecture notes on Plate tectonics and what causes the Earths crust to move.<\/p>\n<p>Friday 3\/8\/19.\u00a0 Students will take a brief vocabulary quiz (15 words) associate with plate tectonics.\u00a0 Students will also finish plate tectonics lecture in preparation for a poster project the following week.<\/p>\n<p>Please note on Tuesday 3\/5 and Thursday 3\/6\u00a0 1st and 2nd periods will be wida testing and we will not be meeting on those days.
