For example: If you have 2 dimes and 3 pennies, how many cents do you have? \u00a0They will learn to count within 1000; skip-count by 5s, 10s, and 100s. \u00a0We will also solve word problems involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, using $ and \u00a2 symbols appropriately. An example would be: If you have 2 dimes and 3 pennies, how many cents do you have? 2NBT.2 Count within 1000; skip-count by 5s, 10s, and 100s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing<\/strong>: \u00a0Students will work on informational writing. \u00a0They will work on editing, revising and publishing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Science<\/strong>: Students will learn about plants and insects. \u00a0We will be reading to gain knowledge about these topics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social Studies<\/strong>: \u00a0Students will learn about\u00a0resources to help us understand \u00a0about the past.
