Elements are composed of a single kind of atom that are grouped into families with similar properties on the periodic table. Compounds are composed of two or more different elements\u2026<\/p>\n<p><b>Language Objective<br \/>\n<\/b>Students will <i>write<\/i> to describe how elements, compounds and mixtures differ by completing notes from the PowerPoint.<\/p>\n<p>Today we were in the computer lab. \u00a0The students completed notes while reading through a PowerPoint presentation. \u00a0When the students finished this they had time to finish several other assignments that they might not have finished over the past week.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>HOMEWORK &#8211; Finish all unfinished assignments. \u00a0Study for the test which will be Thursday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Content Objective Students will demonstrate comprehension of how elements, compounds and mixtures are different by completing a graphic organizer.
