My name is Michelle Bittar and I am the new teacher taking over for Danielle Kortsjens.\u00a0 While this is my first year as a classroom teacher,\u00a0I have been substitute teaching for the past five years with several long-term Special Education positions throughout the years.\u00a0 In fact, I completed my Special Education student teaching at\u00a0Stout Middle\u00a0School\u00a0in Ms. Poloni’s classroom in the Winter of 2015.<\/p>\n
I attended Wayne State University and received my Bachelor’s of Art degree in Design and Merchandising.\u00a0 Immediately after graduating, I attended Eastern Michigan University for my post-baccalaureate\u00a0teaching certificate in Special Education Cognitive Impairment grades\u00a0K-12\u00a0and Secondary English grades 6-12.\u00a0 I plan on continuing to pursue my Masters Degree in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University in the fall of 2017.<\/p>\n
