Classwork was to self-critique yesterday&#8217;s, &#8220;Comparing Speeds.&#8221; Then students began, <strong>&#8220;Interpreting rate of change&#8221;<\/strong>, where they analyzed different graphs for slope in context. Some kids may need to complete the IXL at home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today in class the 6th graders were assigned IXL 6.S on percents models. Then we began lesson 5 on percentages. <strong>You have no homework unless you need to complete IXL.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today in class the 7th graders were assigned <strong>IXL 7.R.6 on absolute value. This is HOMEWORK!<\/strong> Then they worked in pairs on the worksheet called, &#8220;Quiz REview,&#8221; which is not actually a quiz review:) You may finish this at home.  <strong>The Halloween Project is due NEXT FRIDAY!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today in class the 8th graders were assigned IXL 8.Z.15 on evaluating functions.
