Tribe: a group of people who have similar culture and live together<\/p>\n<p>4. dike: a long wall that keeps out the water<\/p>\n<p>5. Canal: a man-made river used for irrigation and traveling<\/p>\n<p>6. Military: army<\/p>\n<p>7. temple: a place to worship<\/p>\n<p>8. worship: pray<\/p>\n<p>9. ziggurat: a pyramid with a temple inside of it<\/p>\n<p>10. priest: a religious leader<\/p>\n<p>11. citizen: a person who lives in a country legally<\/p>\n<p>12. legal: lawful<\/p>\n<p>13. illegal: not lawful or against the law<\/p>\n<p>14. obey: to listen to what someone tells you to do<\/p>\n<p>15. disobey: the opposite of obey<\/p>\n<p>16. expensive: costs a lot of money<\/p>\n<p>17. monotheistic: believing in only one god<\/p>\n<p>18. polytheistic: believing in many gods<\/p>\n<p>19. atheistic: not believing in god<\/p>\n<p>20. crop: food that you grow in a farm<\/p>\n<p>21. statue: a building to symbolize a person or god<\/p>\n<p>22. symbol: something that stands for something else<\/p>\n<p>23. sacrifice: to give a gift to a god<\/p>\n<p>24. cuneiform: the written language of Sumerians<\/p>\n<p>25.Invention: something that is made for the first time<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CHAPTER 3 already!
