Welcome!\u00a0 My name is Mr. Biggar and I am excited for this new school year at Edsel Ford High School!\u00a0 I have been teaching for 10 years after having graduated with my bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University and Masters of Educational Leadership from Concordia University-Ann Arbor.\u00a0 I hold my students to high standards and take my teaching very seriously and enjoy helping them become outstanding citizens in and out of the classroom!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>*<strong>Please click on each of the tabs to find your class.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*This <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">iBLOG<\/span> <\/strong>will be the homepage to my classroom, however it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you become familiar with and use these items below.\u00a0 <strong>Download the APPS as well!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>CELL PHONE POLICY<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8212; Phones, as most agree, are an integral part of our professional and personal lives.\u00a0 However, they become a problem with our education.\u00a0 It is expected that your phone is silenced and put away before you ENTER class EVERY HOUR.\u00a0 If you choose to use a phone without permission, Mr. Biggar&#8217;s &#8220;2 Strike&#8221; cell phone policy will be as follows:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>a.) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Strike 1:<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">The first offense of having a phone out in class without permission will result in your name being written marked. You are expected to put your phone away for the remainder of the semester.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>b.) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Strike 2:<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your phone will be taken to the student office.\u00a0 It will remain there until a parent or guardian retrieves it.\u00a0 You will also be deducted behavior points in class.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>GOOGLE CLASSROOM<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8212; We will be working extensively with Google this year on class assignments, videos, and games.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>GOOGLE TRANSLATE<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8212; Help yourself by translating as you need for your education!\u00a0 \u062a\u0631\u062c\u0645\u0629 \u062d\u0633\u0628 \u062d\u0627\u062c\u062a\u0643<\/span><\/p>\n<p>4. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>GOOGLE DOCS<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8212; Use for turning in online assignments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>5. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">REMIND!<\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8212; Use for reminders and important messages regarding assignment due dates, tests, quizzes, and other announcements.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">How to sign up: On your phone, type in number 81010 and text this message: @sbiggar19<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>QUIZLET<\/strong><\/span> &#8212;<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Fantastic for studying for Mr. Biggar&#8217;s assessments using games and vocabulary!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>7. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Soc.
