My name is Mariam Beydoun and I\u2019m a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Anthropology. I also have a master degree in Masters At Teaching (MAT) with a certification in teaching Mathematics and English as a Second Language (ESL). Since I was a young child, I have had one career goal in mind, and that is to become a teacher. My ultimate life goal is to work at different schools settings in order to develop a rapport between parents and children that has never existed in our community.<\/p>\n<p>To work for positive change and a better tomorrow on a local scale, and that is my job description of a teacher. I feel as though I have found my calling; teaching. Teaching is going to be the medium through which I hope to help the children of our future generations realize that they can also be productive and contributing sources to our society. I understand the pressure of high school and I promise that I will do everything I can to ensure you succeed in my class. At the same time, I hope you will make the same commitment to yourselves.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, we all have dreams but in order to make dreams come into reality, it will take an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.
