Ex. 2<sup>4<\/sup> = 2 \u00d7 2 \u00d7 2 \u00d7 2 = 16<\/em><\/li><li><strong>multiply &#8211; <\/strong>The operation of repeated addition of the same number. <em>Ex. 5 x 3 = 5 + 5 + 5<\/em><\/li><li><strong>factors &#8211; <\/strong>The whole numbers that are multiplied to get a product. <em>Ex. 6 x 2 = 12 \u2192 6 and 2 are factors, 12 is the product.<\/em><\/li><li><strong>\u00a0estimation &#8211; <\/strong>A number close to an exact amount.
