Please practice writing and identifying these numbers at home.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Here are some fun rhymes to help your child when practicing writing their numbers.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><strong>NUMBER RHYMES<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">1- Straight line down and then we\u2019re done, that\u2019s the way to make a one!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">2- Half a heart says, \u201cI love you, then go back and that\u2019s a two!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">3- Around the tree, around the tree, that\u2019s the way to make a three!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">4- Down and over, down once more.\u00a0 That\u2019s the way to make a four.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">5- The hat, the back, the belly it\u2019s a five.\u00a0 Watch out! It might really come alive!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">6- Stick and a hoop do the tricks. That\u2019s the way to make a six!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">7- Across the sky and down from heaven. That\u2019s the way to make a seven!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">8- Make a S close the gate. Now you\u2019ve made the number 8!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">9- A loop and a line. Now you\u2019ve made the number nine!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">10- One (l) egg (0) laid by a hen. Now you\u2019ve made the number ten!<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\n<p>Here is another fun game you can play at home!!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Name That Number-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will need a regular deck of cards. \u00a0Take out the face cards- Jack, Queen, King and the Ace. \u00a0Shuffle the rest of the cards and place them in a neat pile in the middle. \u00a0You turn over one card at a time. \u00a0Whoever says the number on the card first wins the card. \u00a0Play continues until all of the cards are gone. \u00a0Then each player counts how many cards they have to find the winner. \u00a0The player with the most cards wins!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kindergarteners must be able to recognize and write the numbers 0 through 30\u00a0and count to 100!!! &nbsp; NUMBER PRACTICE We will start with the numbers\u00a01-10.
