(This\u00a0<strong>DOES NOT\u00a0<\/strong>apply to students who are up to date with assignments.) Google classroom doesn\u2019t notify me when you hand it in. This is\u00a0<strong>not necessary<\/strong>\u00a0for current assignments that were made this week 6\/1 \u2013 6\/5.\u00a0 I will not be accepting work after June 5th at 5 pm due to the district&#8217;s timeline for entering grades for report cards so please be sure you have all your work handed in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear Parents,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the school year is coming to an end, we wanted to take this time to thank you for all of your continued support and understanding.&nbsp; None of what we have accomplished could have been possible without the strong partnership we have as a community.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our plan this week is to have a day for material pick-up and drop-off.&nbsp; The day is currently planned for Thursday, June 4th in the afternoon.&nbsp; In order to maximize safety, we have assigned timings based on your child\u2019s last name.&nbsp; If your child\u2019s last name begins with the letter A-M, the pick-up\/drop-off time will be from 12:00-1:30pm.&nbsp; If your child\u2019s last name begins with the letter N-Z, the pick-up\/drop-off time will be from 1:30-3:00pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We ask that students do not accompany adults and that we practice safety precautions at all times.&nbsp; Please plan on coming with a mask on, practice social distancing and come in to pick up items and leave immediately.&nbsp; We greatly appreciate your support in keeping everyone safe and healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are a few important pieces of information to be aware of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pick-up\/Drop-off will occur on the South Playground (near Myrte).\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>There will be an area marked for each classroom teacher.\u00a0 Student materials have been placed in brown paper bags and extra material in a plastic bag ready for pick up with your child\u2019s name.\u00a0 There will also be a basket with the teacher&#8217;s name there for you to drop off any classroom books\/materials.\u00a0 These items should be placed in a bag, clearly marked with your child\u2019s name.\u00a0 Please remember, some students have lots of items, so come prepared.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>In the lot, there will also be bins for you to drop-off:<ul><li>library books<\/li><li>classroom collection books<\/li><li>reading group books<\/li><li>Social Studies History Atlas<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>musical instruments<\/li><li>safety belts<\/li><li>service squad pins<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please clearly mark your child\u2019s name on these items by either placing them in a bag or using a piece of masking tape.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>There will also be a table to pick up your child\u2019s medicine, anything left will be disposed of according to policy.<\/li><li>If you have been collecting pop tabs, we will also have the box outside to collect those pop-tabs.<\/li><li>Yearbooks and Spring Pictures have come in, there will be a table set up for those.&nbsp; 5th graders will get their yearbook in their promotion bags.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Since this will all occur outside, we are hoping that the weather cooperates.&nbsp; If things change, we will let you know.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a wonderful day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Tiba<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Math<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answers from yesterday&#8217;s math homework 6.22&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/embarc.online\/mod\/page\/view.php?id=6356\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/embarc.online\/mod\/page\/view.php?id=6356<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we are working on Module 6 lesson 23 . Try cheerios, berries, goldfish, etc. Set out your snack on a plate and use your tongue only to collect your food.
