Students also learned how to ask where someone is from and how to respond to that by an interactive activity with a partner. Later in the week, students worked with dates, focusing on birthdays. Next week, students will prepare for their first quiz, a vocab quiz, on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Espa\u00f1ol II<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week in Spanish 2, students took an in-depth at Patagonia, the region, that was the backdrop to the in-class activities of Francis Mallmann. With a partner, students found four different locations in Patagonia that they liked using a website in Spanish, and explained why they would like to go there, all done in Spanish. Students read about and watched a short video about a couple of Francis Mallmann&#8217;s restaurants and his cooking techniques. Students then later created their &#8220;own restaurant&#8221; with a menu of food items and descriptions. Students finished the week with a vocab game to reinforce vocabulary.
