Students watched a short video after the writing quiz relating to dancing as a pastime in Colombia. On Thursday, students were presented with the new vocabulary for Chapter 4 and on Friday students watched an episode of the Spanish tv show\u00a0<em>Extra\u00a0<\/em>and began an activity called\u00a0<em>M\u00fasica de marzo, <\/em>in which classes listen to current Spanish songs in a bracket style and will decide who will win the &#8220;tournament.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Espa\u00f1ol II<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>This week in Spanish 2, students began the week by reviewing their practice letters and studying the\u00a0preterite past tense a bit more in depth in preparation for their writing quiz on Tuesday. Students watched a video after the writing quiz about the importance of planned obsolesce in the role of shopping.
