Students played a Spanish version of the game\u00a0<i>Guess\u00a0Who?\u00a0<\/i>with celebrities from the US and Spanish-speaking countries. Later in the week, students watched a movie called\u00a0<em>Tambi\u00e9n la lluvia,\u00a0<\/em>(Even the Rain) which taught students about the struggles in some Latin American countries, specifically highlighting the 2000 Cochabamba protests over the privatization of the water supply in the country.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Espa\u00f1ol II<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Last week, students in Spanish 2 began the week by giving presentations on recipes of foods from Spanish-speaking countries. Students did a very nice job with their culminating Chapter 6 project.
