Send notes or call the office\nand I will get back to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n SCIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank-you to\neveryone that has sent in the Mystery Bags. \nWe will enjoy guessing what is in them using describing words or\nPROPERTIES that tell about the object (or piece of matter) that was put into\nthe bags. We are studying about Matter\nin science. Please send back the bag\nwith something in it and words to\ndescribe<\/strong> (properties) if your child has not brought something in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Post-its are another\nneed of the class. Please send some in, if you are able to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n PLANNERS<\/strong>–\nPlease send these every day because we use them. The spelling words will be\nwritten in them, also. There is a charge, if a planner is lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n SPELLING WORDS FOR NEXT WEEK ARE LONG VOWELS THAT END IN E.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The words will be; ate, bite, cave game, huge, mane, mine,\nnose, pine, rode, rude, stove, tube, vote and wide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Social Studies<\/strong>–\nPlease point out things that you see as you walk\/ride through our COMMUNITY of\nDearborn. We are studying about\ncommunity. There are natural\ncharacteristics (tree, river, grass) and human characteristics (bridge, road,\nstore) of our community to be seen. \nPlease discuss these as you see them at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Reading Bags<\/strong>\nare still needed. I do not have enough\nto lend everyone that has not sent in one. \nThey may end up with a big zip lock bag. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n Math- The first test will come home by parent request. Please ask if you want to see the Module\n(unit) 1 math test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank-you if you signed up for Class Dojo<\/strong>. It is a\nvery nice message system.
