<\/a><\/p>\nWe had a kindness circle and talked about things that might “wrinkle” someone’s heart. We learned when you say or do something mean to someone, saying sorry doesn’t always fix the problem. Instead we discussed things you could do to make someone happy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n We celebrated Earth Day and learned about different things we can do every day to help protect Earth!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We had a blast on our field trip to the Henry Ford Centennial Library!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A leprechaun came to visit our classroom. He left us a note, a mess, and a little treat!<\/p>\n To celebrate March is Reading Month, we have had a few guest readers come in and read to our class!<\/p>\n We had a blast celebrating the 100th day of school! We created what we think we will look like in 100 years and wrote about what we think we will be doing.<\/p>\n We learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to help us understand why we don’t have school on Monday. We talked about how his dream was for everyone to be treated equally, regardless of what you look like. We came up with our own dreams too!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We’ve been working on writing books about how to brush your teeth in 4 steps!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We count how many days we’ve been in school every morning!<\/p>\n IMG_2953<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n We had a blast learning yoga, meditation, and breathing!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We made jingle bell necklaces to send to children at St. Jude’s hospital!<\/p>\n We start our day with the “Morning Song”!<\/p>\n IMG_2666<\/a><\/p>\n We had a fun time with our Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As a school, we read\u00a0The Dot<\/em> by Peter H. Reynolds.
