Second grade artists looked at artwork that has radial symmetry with Ms. McGowan, our student teacher!\u00a0 The artwork we looked at was from Pennsylvania and was called a Hex Design.\u00a0 These designs were usually hung on barns for good luck.<\/p>\n

Just like a hexagon has six sides, our hex designs have six sections.\u00a0 Each artist showed radial symmetry by drawing the same designs in each of their six sections around their circle.<\/p>\n
