Fifth grade artists looked at the collage artworks of Romare Bearden in art class.\u00a0 We looked at how elements of jazz music could be seen in a visual way in his artwork of musicians.<\/p>\n

Each artist created their own mixed media collage that showed an experience from their life.\u00a0 They changed or exaggerated certain features of their experience to convey the emotion they were feeling at the time.<\/p>\n
