First grade artists reviewed the primary colors and horizontal and vertical lines during art class by creating a Mondrian-inspired artwork!<\/p>\n

We started by looking at the abstract artwork of Piet Mondrian and noticed the primary colors, squares, rectangles, and horizontal and vertical lines.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Each artist glued a combination of primary colored rectangles to their paper, trying to show balance.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then they used cardboard and paint to add black lines.<\/p>\n
