Kindergarten artists created penguin collages in the art room!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

They began by drawing snowflakes with white crayons on a white paper. \u00a0Then they painted over the snowflakes with cool colors (green, blue, and purple) to reveal the snowflakes. \u00a0This is a watercolor resist technique!<\/p>\n

Then they cut out the parts of a penguin using shapes and glued them all together.<\/p>\n

They finished by adding snow to the ground with white paper and gluing their penguins to the snow. \u00a0Some added winter accessories to their penguins if they had extra time.<\/p>\n
