Kindergarten artists have been learning about the primary colors in the art room!<\/p>\n

They began by looking at the artwork of Piet Mondrian, who had many paintings where\u00a0the primary colors were used with black lines. \u00a0Each artist drew a spider web with black lines and colored in the spaces with only the primary colors like Mondrian did.<\/p>\n

Then they learned how to mix two primary colors together to make a secondary color. \u00a0They read the story “Mice Paint” and drew three mice. \u00a0They mixed the primary colors to make the three secondary colors so that it looked like the mice were painting.<\/p>\n
